To readers by the bunch:
If you’re in a book club, arrangements can be made for a live ‘appearance’ by the author via speaker
phone, or in person if your club meets in the Madison
area. (Sometimes she travels further afield: see photos below.)

A visual sampling of book clubs following their respective discussions and dissecting of A Test of Survival :

This was the second Symphony Tours literary group to discuss A Test of Survival, meeting in Washington, D.C. Gracious connoisseurs of good music and cultured conversation.

A zesty club, Beyond Dick and Jane, in the Seattle area. Their 'healthy outrage' over issues portrayed in the book contributed much to a memorable afternoon.

They call themselves the Ravenous Readers, in Madison. Ravenous for good stories, tasty food, lively conversation. Not the first group to advise the author: "Take it to Oprah!"

The Crones, aptly translated as 'wise and powerful women'. An insightful mix of readers, they've been meeting -- though not these particular individuals! -- for 45 years.

The Fitchburg club. Small in number, large in curiosity and commentary, and loads of fun.

Another long-standing Madison book club. Keen intellects, an impressive range of experience, and fabulous desserts.
